Dear Postman,

You have been good to me this week. Nearly everyday you brought me a surprise in the mail- Birchbox, delivery from Hautelook, eBay purchase, graduation invitation, Ulta catalogue, NY&Co catalouge and the list goes on. While I have loved and appreciated all of these gifts/deliveries I need to slow down. We are just moving too fast. My bank account and my husband will soon resent you therefore I am going to keep my distance. I’m not saying that you can’t ever deliver nice things to my house, but maybe only once a week. I just can’t handle more than that.

Yes, it’s true, my dear readers. I have been going a bit overboard lately. Every day this week I have had a surprise in the mail. I placed a bunch of orders with Hautelook (a website that announces new discount deals on designer clothes, shoes and makeup each day at 11 a.m. EST) about a month ago and they are just now starting to be delivered, which is kind of fun because I am still getting fun things in the mail even though I am kind of cutting myself off.

I did invest in some much needed new products at Sephora this weekend though. I picked up Make Up For Ever HD foundation and concealer in color 115. I also picked up some Smashbox BB cream in Fair. The foundation and concealer were definitely needed. I actually didn’t even own a concealer and had been trying to make my foundation do the job for the past year or so. Also, my Mark Kay foundation was pretty much gone so I needed to buy new foundation anyway and thought I would give something new a try (not because I didn’t love my MK foundation, but I have just been enjoying trying out new things lately). So far both are working great. It doesn’t feel like anything is there and the concealer worked great on a couple of trouble spots as well as under my eyes. The best part about this trip to Sephora was that they threw free samples in my bag for the Make Up For Ever Foundation Primer and HD Finishing Powder. I am really excited to give these a whirl. Definitely get samples when you go in.

My other important product that I recieved this week was MAC Fluidline Blacktrack eyeliner. This beautiful little pot of eyeliner works great with the Elf eyeliner brush and is creating the most perfect eyeliner look that I have achieved to date. I am officially addicted to this stuff. It goes on so creamy and stays in place all day. In the photo to the right I used:

MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study
NAKED Palette in Creep and Sidecar
Urban Decay Highlight in Moonshine
MAC Fluidline BlackTrack
ELF Mascara Primer
Physician’s Formula Mascara in Black
Make Up For Ever Concealer under the eyes

There is a ton of other stuff that I picked up this past week from my lovely postman and from Sephora so I will give you some reviews and looks in future posts. Feel free to leave comments below on things you would like to see or learn about.
